Mascor is currently looking for a Branch Manager in Salt Rock to build rapport with customers and the community, implement strategies to improve productivity and sales performance and manage and motivate the employees.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

a. Management

- Manage and control working capital for JD AG, Construction and Forestry divisions

- Excert good leadership skills.

- Ensure branch compliance with policies and procedures.

- Ensure branch profits, return on assets and costs and margins meet budget

- Ensure that required daily reports are sent through to Head office correctly and timeously.

- Action the monthly matrix report and send through to Head office.

- Assist with recruitment

- Ensure that Performance Management are actioned for the branch

- Oversee the general operations of the branch.

 

b. Sales

- Ensure all year demo and marketing programmes are executed for JD AG, Construction and Forestry

- Ensure that coverage reports/Magnitude are completed

- Meet budgeted unit and sales targets including forestry budgets

- Sales coverage to be at 85% for John Deere AG, Construction and Forestry

- Market share to be at 42% for below 70kW units and at 60%for above 70kW units or the overall growth must be at 10% year on year.

- Build a rapport with the community to attract business.

 

c. Customer satisfaction

- Attending to customer enquiries timeously

- Overall CSI to be more than 85%

- After sales contact to be at 100%

- Liaising with woodland owners, timber merchants, contractors, customers and the general public

 

d. Housekeeping and safety

- Ensure that the Parts, Workshop and equipment departments are neat, tidy and includes marketing displays.

- Ensure that Parts are stored in accordance with required standards

- Communications to be done timeously

- Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations including OHS and franchise requirements.

Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

a. Qualifications:

i. Min: Grade 12 with Diploma in Business Management

ii. Ideal: Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field

 

b. Experience:

i. 3-5 years’ proven experience in a similar role

ii. Familiarity with the Agricultural/Construction and Forestry industry will be advantageous.

 

c. Legal Requirements:

i. Valid drivers license
